LIangBuaStegodonJaw.jpg
Rokhus Due Awe works long evenings in his guest-house-turned-bone-lab near Liang Bua Cave. Here he reconstructs the jaw of a baby pygmy Stegodon, an extinct relative of elephants. It appears that Homo floresiensis brought baby Stegodons into Liang Bua for buthcering and cooking. No adults have been found.
